Info from Licensor: One day whilst at work with my son Craig, we wondered if you can actually cook food successfully in hot tarmac and it turns out, that yes you can. We wrapped 4 raw sausages in foil, twice for protection and buried them in our hot tarmac which is about 150/160 degrees C for just under an hour and the results were perfect sausages that didn't taste or smell the tarmac.
