Spanish River High School students, teacher work on device to detect sepsis

A group of Spanish River High School students and their teacher are working together to develop a sensor to detect sepsis. Biotechnology Academy teacher Mary Fish had the idea after her father died from sepsis while in a California rehab facility several years ago.
