The archdiocese says a lay review board meets regularly to examine possible violations of the Decree on Child Protection. The review board includes a psychologist, a social worker and an abuse survivor. Critics of the archdiocese say it's not enough, and that recent failures by the archdiocese prove laity needs to be directly involved in key operational decisions that directly impact them.
