'Cats' Flops In Re-Release

'Cats' is one of the biggest box office disasters of all time.
It's so bad that Universal Pictures will send a modified version of the movie “Cats” to theaters around the country by Tuesday.
The new version is complete with updated special effects.
This was reportedly done at the request of the film's director, Tom Hooper.
He admitted that he barely finished the film in time for its premiere early last week.
Hooper wanted to tweak the special effects contained in the newly released version.
The film grossed $6.5 million on a $100-million budget.
