On Tuesday night, Sen. Chuck Schumer told CNN's Erin Burnett, "If we can't get the facts, then no president can be impeached, and this president and then other presidents will have almost no check on overreaching actions that defy the Constitution."

While the House Democrats were arguing on their shoddy less than circumstantial evidence with House Republicans, Schumer was telling them they needed more evidence. That should be the headlines going into the weekend.

Sounds like the rush to impeach does not have facts to support the House Democrat's bogus charges. Schumer is admitting that the Senate should acquit based on lack of evidence. He also confuses the role of the Senate, which is to act a jury with the role the House was supposed to perform. The Senate is not the place to develop what the Schiff Show and Nadler Inquisition failed to find.
