NBC26 Storm Shield Forecast

Highs on Wednesday were running 15-20° below normal but major changes are on the way!! Clouds will be on the increase tonight with temperatures actually slowly rising through the night into the teens. Thursday won't be as cold with highs in the mid/upper 20s. Above average temperatures return for Friday with highs in the mid/upper-30s. Those mild temps stick around for the weekend with 40s possible by Sunday & Monday. We will be melting a little of this snow & no accumulating snow is in the forecast. Winter officially arrives on Saturday at 10:19 PM. The NBC26 viewing area will be split as far as snowcover is concerned on Christmas day. White Christmas north.......Brown Christmas south.
