Compo Fraudster Says Pooch Bit Him While Munching Bun

Police in China are warning of a new form of fake accident scam after a man was seen throwing a warm bun at a dog’s snout before claiming the pooch bit him while trying to eat it.

The bizarre stunt known in Chinese as ‘peng ci’ - a Mandarin which translates literally as ‘touching porcelain’ - was captured by a traffic camera in the city of Luzhou in China’s south-western Sichuan Province.

The footage dated 29th November shows the as yet unidentified suspect standing by the roadside and watching the fluffy white Samoyed dog whose female owner is nearby.
