Blind cat hunts pigeon by sound

Rumble / Cats & KittensMissy has been blind since her early age. She was born in a litter of stray kittens and contracted Feline HerpesVirus (FHV) that attacks kitties' lungs and eyes and in severe cases leaves their eyesight permanently damaged. Missy was rescued off the streets and today she is perfectly healthy except for her eyes. One eye had to be removed and the other one is almost completely damaged. Vets say that she might be able to see the difference between light and darkness but nothing more. But, since she is living indoors now, her blindness doesn't stop her from being a very cheerful and curious cat. She uses her other senses to get around and she does it fairly well. In this video you can see how she is able to locate a pigeon by sound even when the pigeon is behind a window.
