The powerful storm system that is affecting all parts of the country is getting its act together this evening. Winter storm warnings are in effect for Waupaca, Outagamie, Brown, Kewaunee, Door, Shawano, Menominee, Oconto, Marinette, Langlade, and Menominee MI. Winter weather advisories are in effect for Waushara, Winnebago, Calumet, Manitowoc, Marquette, Green Lake, Fond Du Lac, and Sheboygan. Lakeshore flood warnings are in effect for all lakeside counties due to the strong onshore winds resulting in shoreline flood and beach erosion. A wintry mix will slowly transition over to moderate and heavy snowfall tonight as cooler air fills in from the north. Coupled with winds out of the northeast at 15-20 mph with gusts near 25, visibility will be a big concern as well as poor road conditions. Some dry air will work into this storm and that could choke off the snowfall for a time along and south of Highway 10 during the morning. The heaviest of snow should end late tomorrow evening from west to east. Snowfall totals will be 10-15 inches north of Highway 29, from Highway 29 to Highway 10, 6-10 inches, South of Highway 10, 3-6 inches of snow. The week looks rather quiet and dry after this storm system departs.
