A strong area of low pressure will move across the area today bringing precipitation that will get lighter this afternoon. The rain for many of us may start to mix with a little snow without much in the way of accumulation. As these showers move through, don't be shocked to hear a rumble of thunder. Farther to the far NW and N, you'll see mainly snow. Get ready for those winds to really crank up out of the NW sometimes gusting to 40-50 MPH. Highs today will be in the low-40s before falling in the afternoon. It's going to be a windy night, but most of the night will be dry with lows in the mid-20s. Thanksgiving looks quiet & dry with highs in the upper-30s. Gobble Gobble!! A wintry mix or snow will develop late Friday with highs in the mid/upper-30s. Another strong system is on the way for the weekend. It's still a little too early to tell how exactly this will affect us, but once again, it looks to be snowier the farther north you live.
