Simple Minds Is Marking 40 Year Career With A New Album And Tour

Forty years since releasing their debut album, Scottish rock band Simple Minds aren't slowing down.
Formed in Glasgow in the 1970s, the group is still fronted by founding members lead vocalist Jim Kerr and guitarist Charlie Burchill.
The most commercially successful Scottish band of the 1980s, they sold more than 60 million albums.
This month, the band released a compilation album titled; “40: The Best Of – 1979-2019”.
