U.S. House Democrats want a federal review of the Keystone pipeline and the agency that regulates it. The pipeline recently faced a 383,000-gallon spill in northeastern Dakota. According to the Huffington Post, the pipeline has had three spills since its start. A letter by Democrats said the public “has a legitimate expectation” for the pipeline to “operate safely.” State regulators said the cause off the leak was not disclosed and cleanup work continues today.
