Representative Ayanna Pressley introduces proposal to change criminal justice system Unlisted Video

Rep. Ayanna Pressley wants to decrminalize sex work in a new resolution. The “People’s Justice Guarantee” is a mass proposal to combat mass incarceration and the current criminal justice system. According to the Huffington Post, it has a clause that would remove “criminal and civil penalties related to consensual sex work.” It also hopes to protect minority communities who are often pushed into doing sex work to survive.
