Lake Okeechobee releases helping to protect paradise

Releasing water from Lake Okeechobee is a hot topic among clean water activists. Many fear it sends harmful algae our way. Right now, the Army Corps of Engineers is discharging water from the lake into the Caloosahatchee River.
