A Tiny House Village Giving Veterans a Hand Up
5 years ago
11
Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin (VOW) began in 2014 as a food pantry and furniture donation organization for veterans in Southeast Wisconsin who needed a hand up. In 2017, VOW opened one of the nation’s most successful tiny home homeless recovery programs for veterans experiencing homelessness. Joining us to discuss the success of this program, and an upcoming expansion to Milwaukee, is VOW Director of Development Fiona Murphy. Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin is hosting a "Vet Night of the Arts" tonight, November 11 at 7pm at the Wartburg Auditorium at Carthage College. The event is free, however tickets are required. For more information on VOW, visit VetsOutreachWI.us or call (262) 221-8350.
