Excellence in Education: Brenda Talley - 11/5/19

Brenda Talley is this week's Michigan Lottery Excellence in Education winner, congratulations! Brenda - "Thank you! We have a video from your nominator." Debbie Miller - “There is no question that you deserve this Excellence in Education award thank you for all that you do for being a colleague and for being a friend” Bob - "What goes through your mind?" Brenda - "I could say the same about almost everyone I work with. I grew up hard and teachers made the difference in my life, and I want to make that difference in others. There is nothing better than sitting down with a child who can't read and the day that they discover they can, that's powerful." Brenda Talley receives a $1,500 check from the Michigan Lottery and her class at Wagar Middle School receives a $500 Grant. Excellence in Education award sponsored by the Michigan Lottery providing more than 23 billion dollars to public education since 1972.
