The is the moment a driver reportedly distracted by his phone crashes into a central reservation before careering across four lanes of heavy traffic.
The startling scenes were recorded by a CCTV camera in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi.
In the video, cars can be seen making their way down a busy motorway when an SUV begins driving on the lines where the motorway splits.
