Tim Cook, CEO of Apple says that the company will spend $2.5 billion dollars to help with the housing and homeless crisis in California.
In an interview with Axios, Cook said that the problem is too tough for the public sector to combat on its own.
Business Insider reports that Apple will allocate the $2.5 billion in a number of ways that include:
1. $1 billion will go towards an affordable housing investment fund
