Airline captain forgets her flight number

Returning from his honeymoon vacation in Cancun, Mexico, the fellow whom recorded this footage was enduring a multi stop flight back home. After boarding the plane in Los Angeles, California en-route back to Vancouver,British Columbia, Brent was relaxing while watching the rest of the passengers board. Sitting in the perfect location to watch the pre-flight chatter of the pilot and first officer, Brent could see and hear much of their conversation. After comparing photos on their iPads, the Captain made her way out to the aisle to brief the passengers regarding their flight path, altitude and weather that would be expected along the way and back in Vancouver.Show more

As we all know, pilots have to retain a lot of information during the planning and duration of their flight. This very experienced pilot seemed to have a momentary memory lapse as she stumbled when trying to recall the flight number of this exact flight, but she did make note she was definitely aware of where the flight was heading. Hearing the chuckles of the passengers you can tell that everyone found it quite funny how the Captain handled her moment of forgetfulness.
