Fire near Getty Center in Los Angeles shuts down roads, forces evacuations

Driven by gusting wind and dry terrain, a brush fire swept through canyons and hillsides in the Sepulveda Pass Monday, consuming at least a half-dozen homes and forcing the evacuations of thousands of residents and the closure of part of the heavily traveled San Diego (405) Freeway.
