The daytime hours today will be a little cool, but it will be dry. Highs will only be in the mid-40s. The evening commute should be fine, but some accumulating snow arrives later night and will probably be ending early Tuesday morning. Early season snow can be very difficult to forecast due to melting and compressing (thanks to the "warm" ground). Right now it's looking like a 1-3" snowfall across much of the area, but will probably be melting a bit on the pavement. Overnight lows will be around 30. Tuesday after some early morning precipitation, the sun will gradually come back, but it still will be chilly. Highs will only top out around 40. Wednesday looks cool, but dry with highs in the low-40s. The next time to watch would be between Thursday and Thursday night. There is plenty of uncertainty with this system. Either way.....parts of the area could once again see accumulating snow. Temps will be COLD as we head into November!!
