Rep. Katie Hill To Resign Amid Ethics Probe After Admitting Affair

Freshman Democrat Rep. Katie Hill announced her resignation on Sunday after she admitted to allegations she had an affair with a staff member. Hill and her husband are currently going through a divorce which she also admitted to last week.

RedState.com, a conservative website, published the allegation of Hill's relationship with one of her staffers last week. The site also posted a photo supposedly of Hill with another person, along with a second allegation that Hill had a relationship with an unidentified campaign staffer.

Hill must have stepped on the wrong toes. There are members of the House of Representatives guilty of far worse things given passes by the ethic's committee.
