Lee County to approve purchase of land to connect SR 82 and Alico Road

At a county commissioners meeting Tuesday, Lee County is set to approve a more than $2.2 million purchase of 87 acres of land to connect SR 82 and Alico Road. The new route will be a game changer for those who travel in and out of Lehigh Acres and Gateway along 82 daily. The road is known to get pretty backed up due to construction.
