Heartless Uni Guard Ruins Candlelight Love Confession

This is the moment - seen over seven million times in less than 24 hours - a university security guard thwarts a young man’s love confession by kicking away his candle display.
Footage of the incident at Guilin University of Technology in China’s southern Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region was posted online on 15th October.
The viral video has attracted thousands of comments both for and against the guard’s actions, while witnesses are left gasping at his action which the university says was done for the sake of public safety.
