These hilarious videos show an embarrassing dad saying goodbye to his daughter as she left for university - by running next to her train.

Megan Burnett, 22, boarded a service at Tiverton Parkway in Devon on her way to the University of the West of England in Bristol.

The nursing student, from Exeter, Devon, looked out of the window where she saw her dad Dave appearing to limber up as if on a starting block.

Dave, wearing sandals, then sped up before hitting full stride as the train pulls away.
