Historic Preservation Commission fears demolition of historic building will impact tourist season

After the city tore down one of Fort Myers' oldest buildings, the Historic Preservation Commission says it should have been able to weigh in first. They feel the city bypassed them and that this will impact planning to rebuild with historic integrity and design.
