Historic building demolished overnight in Downtown Fort Myers

Despite a letter addressed to the city by the Historic Preservation Commission, a historic building from the 1900s was demolished overnight Tuesday in the downtown historic district of Fort Myers. The commission said that it should have had a chance to review and approve any demolition issued here.
