NBC26 Storm Shield Forecast
A FLASH FLOOD WATCH has been issued for much of the viewing area until Wednesday. Get ready for plenty more rain on today with multiple rounds of showers and T'storms moving through. Localized flooding will be possible because of this rain on our saturated soil. We'll probably have less of this the farther north you live. Highs will be in the low/mid 70s early & then falling into the 60s & 50s. More locally heavy rainfall will move through tonight. It will be a lot cooler Wednesday with wind and highs back in the 50s. We could see a shower early, but most of the day should be dry. More showers start to develop on Wednesday night. Thursday, more showers will linger in the morning with mid/upper 50s temperatures expected. It looks like we have a break from the rain Friday with highs in the mid-50s. More rain rolls in Saturday, but Sunday looks fine. This will also be the wettest year on record with the rain over the next few days.
