American Woman Tells Hong Kong Protester - Value Safety Over Freedom

However, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen anything this horrific.  Please note, there’s nothing gory here. There’s no violence.  It’s simply a clip of an American woman lecturing Hong Kong freedom protesters about how they’re ‘wasting their time.’

She delivers the essence of the American progressive argument: Acquiesce. Become subservient. Then we’ll all get along, and you’ll be “safe.” You’ll be oppressed and miserable, but “safety” trumps all.

“Why don’t the universities get involved instead of protesting?” she wonders. “What a waste of time for everybody. You guys should be enjoying your Sunday.” She then looks at some graffiti and asks “Is this ok? Is this respectful? If my mother saw me wrote this…”

“So, look. Look. Violence breeds violence” she continued. “Do you agree? Find me one case where violence led to other solutions.”
