A Stage 4 Cancer Survivor's Journey
In 2012, Sarah Kaehny was diagnosed with stage 4 sarcoma, the same cancer that killed her father. Over the next several years, she had 8 surgeries and chemotherapy. Then the doctors at Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin put Sarah on a clinical trial with an experimental drug. One year after the trial ended, she remains cancer free. We are thrilled to welcome Sarah to The Morning Blend, along with Dr. John Charlson from Froedtert, to discuss her story and a fun event to raise funds for lifesaving cancer research. The "Cancer Crush" Run/Walk is happening Saturday, September 28 on the Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin Campus in Wauwatosa. Enter code "MorningBlend" for 20% off the registration fee, making it only $20 to register to run or walk. To register or to donate, visit MCWCancerCrush.com.
