Shelby Township police officer finds python under hood of car

On Wednesday night, police say they got a call from a security guard at an RV storage lot on Hamlin Road. That security guard said there was a python on the loose. Officer Fettig was dispatched there and says, "Honestly, if it was a different type of snake I would probably be a little afraid, but I've dealt with (a python) before."
