Vincent Triggs Elementary expects to raise star ranking

A big accomplishment for students and teachers at Vincent Triggs Elementary in North Las Vegas. The school was honored by the district Thursday for raising its state star ranking, a number compiled from state test scores. Administrators at Triggs Elementary expect their ranking to go from 2-Star to 5-Star. Superintendent Dr. Jesus Jara and other district leaders were there to congratulate students. The complete list of star rankings will be released Sunday.
