Overland Park hosting ceremony honoring 18th anniversary of 9/11 attacks

A public ceremony beginning at 7:30 Wednesday morning in Overland Park, Kansas, will commemorate the events of September 11, 2001. The city has a memorial to the terrorist attacks of that day outside its fire training center at 12401 Hemlock Street. The goals of the memorial are to remember, honor and educate.
