A family from Nashville, Tennessee, shared this movies video of a nurse singing a dying patient’s favorite song in an attempt to comfort her.

In the moving video we see Ms. Olivia, as they lovingly call her, singing "Dancing in the sky" by Canadian twins Dani and Lizzy to Margaret Smith. The 63-year-old woman was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville because of her rapidly declining health. She had been suffering from liver cancer for about a year and doctors said she was too sick to survive a transplant.

It was Margaret’s daughter Megan who recorded and posted the video of the touching moment on her Facebook page, where it’s been viewed nearly three million times.

Megan says: “Ms Olivia, she would sing this to Margaret when ever Margaret asked her. Never would Olivia ever say ‘give me a minute’, or ‘I would but I don’t have time’. If all nurses would take the time and care for patients like Ms. Olivia I believe we would see a lot more healing!!!!! The definition of a nurse to our family would be Olivia.......”

The lyrics of the song go:

“Oh-oh, I,
I hope you’re dancing in the sky
And I hope you’re singing in the angel’s choir
And I hope the angels know what they have
I’ll bet it’s so nice up in heaven since you arrived”

Music: "Dancing in the sky" by Dani and lizz
