A Family of Heart Heroes Fighting Heart Disease

Adia Green and her son Aidan were born with a rare congenital heart defect. This led to both of them having open heart surgery, with Aidan's first surgery being done at just 4 months old. This family's story is just one of the many reasons the American Heart Association is hosting the Greater Milwaukee Heart & Stroke Walk this month on Milwaukee's Lakefront. Adia and Aidan join us, along with Paul Neuberger, the Heart Walk Chair, to discuss the importance of this event. The Greater Milwaukee Heart & Stroke Walk/5K Run is happening on Saturday, September 21 at Veteran’s Park. The 5K Run starts at 8:15am and the Walk at 10am. Strollers & pets are welcome!
