American Airlines retiring remaining MD-80 planes

American Airlines is retiring all remaining MD-80 aircrafts on September 4. There are 28 left of more than 350 planes that flew domestically since 1983. The company says the older plane burns more fuel and requires more upkeep, so it made sense to retire their planes. 2 Works for You Reporter Gitzel Puente has details on the last two MD-80s to land in Tulsa.
