September is Suicide Awareness and Prevention Month
Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death for people in the United States, ages 10 to 34. There's a group in Waukesha that offers a number of free suicide prevention and educational programs to help those that may be at risk. Joining us with more information on NAMI Waukesha and a very important walking coming up are Mary Madden and Lisa Vildberg. NAMWalks Waukesha for Mental Health Awareness is happening Saturday, September 14 at the Frame Park Picnic Shelter in Waukesha. To learn more or register, visit NAMIwalks.org/Waukesha. September is Suicide Awareness and Prevention Month. Visit NAMIwaukesha.org to learn more about free suicide awareness and prevention opportunities during the month of September.
