Phoenix firefighters headed to Florida to help with Hurricane Dorian efforts

The Phoenix Fire Department is sending a crew to help with response efforts for Hurricane Dorian. Phoenix Fire said its Arizona Task Force 1 would leave Friday afternoon en route to Tallahassee, Florida. Arizona Task Force 1 is one of 28 Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) task forces in the United States, as described on the group’s website.
