Thieves recently hit a popular community garden in West Boise, making off with about a dozen big bags of vegetables intended for low-income refugee families. It happened last week at the garden behind the Hillview United Methodist Church on Ustick Road. The church says those who run the garden would have helped someone in need, but despite the thefts and damage to the garden, they will continue to help those in need.
