Alcohol is the second most widely used drug in the United States, second to tobacco. Alcoholism has been described as Alcohol abuse disorder, that refers to a long-term addiction to alcohol. A person with this condition does not know when or how to stop drinking. Not only does this negatively impact the individual, but also all those who love him or her.
