Nick's Heroes: Summer Palacios at Madrid Neighborhood School

"I do love teaching," explains Summer Palacios. "It's about making a difference." Summer brings that same passion and enthusiasm to her fourth grade class at the Madrid Neighborhood School in Phoenix. But that's not all she does - not by a long shot! She's a coach and even pays for shoes if the kids can't afford them. She even attends games and competitions when mom and dad can't.
