Man's death near Hwy 71, Red Bridge investigated as homicide

Kansas City, Missouri, police are investigating a man’s death as a homicide after an incident in south Kansas City. KCPD said around 12:30 a.m. officers were called to the southbound exit ramp from U.S. Highway 71 to Red Bridge Road on reports of a crash involving a pedestrian. KCPD said evidence at the scene led investigators to believe the circumstances surrounding the man’s death were suspicious.
