It is really easy to forget that we are not the only living beings living on this planet. We are trapped in our concrete jungles, escaping the scorching heat and the freezing icy winters in the sanctity of our homes. The only contact with the outside world is photographs and videos of animals living freely in the wild.
Nature is so full of surprises and very unpredictable, that we should no longer be amazed when we face something strange. The strange thing we are talking about in this case is a Bird Caught on Fish Bait and Gets Saved. Bystanders at the beach managed to rescue and save seabird caught on a fishing lure.

It is not very often that we see this predator being so helpless. It is usual to see them soaring through the sky on the lookout for their prey.

However, a stroke of great luck hit this birdie when Bystanders on the beach heard its cries for help and decided to free it from the constraints. It was an act of kindness and a great deal of courage since even big humans can sometimes be afraid of small predators like this sea bird. Thankfully, after a bit of wiggling its little body, they managed to get the bird out of the fishing lure, and it flew out in the open, ready to soar through the skies once again.

There are numerous threats to seabirds and the need for protection continues to Increase. People often unwittingly disturb seabirds in their nesting or roosting sites through the introduction of loud noises, toxic chemicals, excessive artificial light, and other stresses.

Seabirds feed on small fish that most fishermen use for lure, so they typically would not Challenge an angler for his prey; however, the seabird’s hunting techniques still put them in threat of getting entangled or hooked in a fisherman’s line.

A humane and respectful treatment of seabirds is critical to the future of fishing. Anglers must work to reverse the negative public opinion of the Angler/Seabird relationship to prevent fishing closures or other limits. If you witness the mistreatment of a seabird, please notify your area's local Game Warden immediately.
