Christmas came 135 days early for one pub after a big-hearted landlord threw a festive bash so staff can take the real day off to spend with their families. Dave Davies suggested hosting a mid-summer Christmas knees-up as a joke but the idea snowballed and more than 40 people booked in for a full turkey dinner.
