It could be a bumpy ride Thursday afternoon

Thursday starts dry until the afternoon when showers and thunderstorms cross the area ahead of a cold front. Expect some of the T-Storms to contain heavy downpours, gusty winds and lightning possibly reaching severe levels. It will be much cooler as we end the week with even some lake effect rain on Friday afternoon. Fortunately the sunshine will show up just in time for the weekend
