Residents left in a flap over an escaped peacock

Residents including English scholar Dame Mary Beard have been left in a flap - over an escaped PEACOCK. The bird has been spotted running around Cambridge - including in Dame Mary's neighbour's garden. She wrote on Twitter: "Has anyone in Cambridge lost a peacock? (No jokes about typical Cambridge problem please! It ain’t!) "But there is one who has just padded into the next door garden." One resident, Emma Higginbotham, captured the colourful bird on video as it flew onto her roof and began squawking loudly.
