Today will be kind of warm and humid with highs in the lower/mid 80s. There will be a slight chance of a stray afternoon shower, but most of the day will be fine with things cooling lakeside. If there's a stray shower this evening, it will quickly die out as the skies clear out. Overnight lows will be in the low-60s. Temperatures get into the mid-80s Wednesday with more scattered thunderstorms developing in the afternoon and evening. Some storms could be strong to severe as a significant cold front will be rolling through. Temperatures then fall into the 70s for the remainder of the week with much less humidity. Basically, starting Thursday, it's going to get really comfortable. The long range outlook from the Climate Prediction Center indicates near average to cooler than average temperatures as we continue into August.
