Hundreds of anti-government protesters took to the streets of Hong Kong once again. Police fired tear gas to disperse the crowd, after violent clashes a day earlier. According to Reuters, Beijing said it would not let the violent situation continue. The protests are against a proposed bill to allow people to be extradited to stand trial in mainland China. Police said they arrested more than 20 people for offences such as unlawful assembly and assault.
