This hilarious video shows workers checking the stability of a new £5m bridge - by JUMPING up and down on it.
Witnesses were stunned when a group in high vis jackets started bouncing on the recently completed Tintagel Bridge to test the strength of the structure.
The technique was spotted on the 187ft (57m) high cantilever bridge, at the historic 13th Century Tintagel Castle in Cornwall.
Finishing touches are currently being done ahead of an official opening next week.
But Emma Knight, 34, of Tintagel, who filmed the test at the site that is strongly linked with King Arthur, said she couldn't believe what she saw.
She added: "I hope that they have more scientific tests than just jumping up and down in the middle.
