Man accused of writing more than $600M of bad checks to Las Vegas casinos

A man was arrested after police say he wrote bad checks totaling more than half a million dollars to various casinos on the Las Vegas Strip. 46-year-old Sang Ho Lee wrote eight checks totaling $625,000 to the Venetian, the Palazzo and the Wynn between December 2016 and January 2017, authorities say. According to court documents, Lee received cash and/or gaming chips for the checks. He was arrested on three counts of Drawing and Passing a Check Without Sufficient Funds in Drawee Bank with Intent to Defraud and three counts of Theft.
